A Weird Doubt!

Hello friends!

Sharing my experiences after a long time...
Actually got a bit busy socially in last 2 months.

Anyways, I have something very weird but interesting to share today.

I was travelling in a train day before. A man about 42 yrs old was sitting next to me. He seemed quite talkative. He was having a conversation with everyone in the compartment turn by turn. And, it was my turn now!

He gave me a smile and started shooting his questions one by one, like, Where was I travelling? Whether I got my reservation confirmed in general quota or tatkal quota? Do I prefer e-ticket or i-ticket?, etc. etc.
I usually don't love talking much during travel, but I had no option than answering him. I tried to ignore many of his questions but ended up giving a short answer.

He then inquired about my profession. I informed that I am a 'dentist'. On hearing this, he gave me a broad smile and I could see a smile on his face and spark in his eyes, as if he had rejuvenated and was full of energy to bombard a new set of questions. I just prayed in mind, "God save me!"

And as I guessed correctly, He started:

Man: So, you are a doctor?
I: Yes
Man: So, you have a little more knowledge on the subject of "infection" than a common man?
I: Probably yes
Man: So you have learnt about "infection" as a part of your curriculum?
I: Yes. But why are you asking me so much about "infection"?
Man: I am a man of science too. And I have learnt that boiling water kills all the bacteria in water. Do you agree?
I: Yes
Man: Do you agree that heat can destroy microorganisms?
I: Yes
Man: Do you support medical research?
I: Yes
Man: Then why dont you doctors develop medicines that produce pyrexia (fever) and increases body temperature so that a person can get free from all sort of infections?
I: Speechless

An Innocent Argument

A little boy, aged 6 years, entered the clinic with a complaint of tooth ache.
I took the necessary case history and after examination, told the parents that the little boy had deep carious lesions in two of his teeth and required root canal treatment for the same. To this - before the parents asks - the little boy asked me, "Aunty, will it hurt?" I replied, "Yes dear, but just a little bit. Far less than the pain you are suffering just now!" The boy was curious to know more about his ailment and treatment and so he further enquired, "Aunty, my mother tells me that I am spoiling my teeth by eating chocolates. Is it true? Is it because of the chocolates that I eat, that you will punish me by doing this treatment?" I just smiled to his question and replied, "Yes dear, your mom is correct. You should always clean your teeth after eating chocolates, and you should not consume a high amount of chocolates or other sweet and sticky food."
To this, the little boy argued;
"Sahilkaka (owner of a local confectionery store) sells sweets which I eat, so punish him for selling goods that are not good for us.
Mummy takes me to the store and buys me those sweets which I eat and spoil my teeth. So punish her for buying me goods that are not good for me.
My papa earns money and gives it to my mom from which she buys these teeth spoiling sweets. So punish him for giving money to my mom from which such unhealthy goods are bought.
Why am I being punished for their mistakes?!"
I was speechless....
